Are 9-hole scores no longer combined into 18s?

Effective 1/16/24, 9-hole scores will no longer be combined into 18s. Rather, the player with an established Handicap Index will post the 9-hole score, and it will be immediately "scaled up" to an 18-hole Score Differential to be used in the Handicap Index calculation that night. This is referred to as the "expected score" procedure, and is a new definition in the Rules of Handicapping.
