      What is an OGA Junior Golf Major Championships?

      OGA Junior Golf Major Championships are considered the most prestigious junior events and designed for our elite youth golfers in the state of Oregon and SW Washington ONLY. These events take place during the summer months and are a minimum of 36 holes, stroke play competition. All players are required play under the USGA Rules of Golf and must complete every hole until the competition is finished.

      The Oregon Junior Amateur is is a 5 day tournament that includes 2 days of stroke play qualifying and match play.

      • The OGA Junior Golf staff and volunteers will be present at all Major Championships.
      • When the course has a driving range, range balls are also included. Lunches may be provided at select events.
