How to post a score to the GHIN app
When the app opens, you will be on the main screen.
1. You will see your:
- Name
- Home Club
- GHIN number
- Current Handicap Index
2. Click on the red POST SCORE button
3. Select your course
- Enter Course Name on top to search for a Course
- Recently played displays the most recent Courses
- Nearby will use your GPS location to show the closest Courses to your location 4.
- Hole-by-Hole
- Hole-By-Hole with Stats (a great option if you are geeky about golf)
- Total Score
- Select 18 Holes or 9-Holes
- Select Tees
- Select Starting Hole if posting Hole-by-Hole
- Select Score Type: Home, Away or Competition
- Select Date Played

- Today’s Date is automatically selected (Please post day of play if possible!)
- Drop down and click on other date if applicable
- If posting Hole-By-Hole, start posting your gross score on each hole
- You can check out GPS feature now!
- The app will adjust for Maximum Hole Score (Net Double Bogey)
- If entering stats, assign as they apply: Putts, Greens in Regulation, Fairway hit and directions
- If posting by total score you can choose to post per each nine or total score
6. Review your score
7. Click on the Post Score button
