What is the recommendation for playing and posting my score when the greens have been aerated?

posting scores during aeration

Unless the Handicap Committee or Committee in charge of the course has temporarily suspended score posting due to extremely rough conditions, it's easiest to just putt it out and post as you normally would. However, if you do not wish to hole out, you will need to post your Most Likely Score - which is the number of strokes you've taken, plus the number of strokes it would generally take you to finish from that position based on your own ability and the difficulty of the green. Please note that there is no such thing as a "two-putt rule".
